Can you make a photo look interesting?
This is a good photo as the main aspect of the photo is in focus and the rest is blurred out. This makes you focus on the main part of the photo. This is also a good photo as the framing is good as there is no random junk in the background.
This is a bad photo as most of the people are cut out and there is no main focus in the image. There is also lots going on in the background and you don't know where to look.
This is also a bad photo as there are people in the background and the main aspect (person) is half cut out of the photo. The framing is also bad as there is also a lot of the image has nothing in it.

I like the positioning of the camera in this photo. It looks straight into the room and makes you focus on the main aspects of the image. I also like that you cannot see out of the window as it is to bright, this makes you focus on what is happening inside the room. The light coming from the window also provides a good lighting effect for the photo.

Year 11 photography unit
Hello my name is Joshua Beard. I am studying OCR Media and this is the third unit of my course. In the first unit I researched and produced my own CD cover. I also made a magazine cover and contents page. In the second unit we worked in groups to research and film a horror film trailer.
